Kristin Gulick, OTR/L, CHT
Director of Occupational Therapy Services
Kristin Gulick is the Director of Occupational Therapy Services for Advanced Arm Dynamics. She has more than 19 years of experience in occupational therapy focusing the past ten years on upper-extremity rehabilitation. After earning a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 1985, she began her career at Shriners Hospital focusing on children with congenital limb loss and limb anomalies. Her work in pediatrics led her to complete certification in neurodevelopmental therapy. Ms. Gulick later served as the clinic coordinator for the outpatient hand therapy clinic at Tampa General Hospital in Florida, a level one trauma center. During this time, she earned her Certified Hand Therapist credentials. In 1998, she returned to Portland, Oregon where she worked for a private hand therapy practice before joining Advanced Arm Dynamics.
Ms. Gulick provides pre-prosthetic evaluation and training, prosthetic training and post-prosthetic follow-up to clients receiving services from Advanced Arm Dynamics. Her teaching and interpersonal skills provide patients nationwide with the training that allows them to gain full benefit from their prosthesis. Ms. Gulick also trains therapists in patients’ communities to establish local resources. She frequently shares her knowledge formally at state and national professional meetings and is involved with industry-related research and development.
