Patient Evaluation

Evaluation

What to expect at a patient evaluation

During your complimentary initial visit to Arm Dynamics, you’ll meet with one of our upper limb prosthetic specialists and a clinical therapy specialist who will spend time getting to know you and learning about your goals and expectations for daily living, work and recreational activities.

The entire appointment lasts approximately two hours.

Request an Evaluation

Be sure to bring the following:

  • Photo ID
  • Current insurance card(s)
  • If you have an existing physician referral and/or prescription, please bring it to the appointment
  • Current prosthesis (if applicable)
  • Completed copies of our new patient paperwork

Your evaluation will include a detailed discussion of your personal and professional goals, applicable prosthetic options for your level of limb loss, a demonstration of the latest prosthetic technologies and creation of a customized prosthetic rehabilitation plan to make sure you have the tools and training you need to achieve your goals. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, tour the center and get acquainted with our team, and possibly meet other prosthetic users. You are welcome to invite a friend or family member if you think it would be helpful to have someone accompany you.

If you’re interested in a preoperative consultation or are having issues with your socket design or prosthetic fit from another provider, our clinical team can formulate a comprehensive plan to address your concerns and discuss ways to enhance your user experience.
