When considering seeking prosthetic care, you might be thinking:

I live several hours drive / a plane ride away from an Arm Dynamics center and it's a bit far for me to have my first complimentary consultation.

Or

As an Arm Dynamics patient, I’d like to talk with my prosthetist about a repair that my device needs, but I don't have the time to go into my center.

Well, we can help! Arm Dynamics has been offering video appointments for years, so we have a lot of experience with communicating all the information you want to know, along with listening to your thoughts and concerns about your needs all via a video chat.

Here’s what we are able to offer via a remote video call:

  • Initial prosthetic evaluations
  • Managing prosthetic repair needs
  • Individualized therapy support
  • Follow-up consultations

We offer these telehealth appointments during regular business hours to our patients and those interested in learning more. In addition, please let us know if you have special scheduling needs, and our teams will work closely with you to find the best time to connect.

Are you curious how these appointments work? Well, we recorded a video call with one of our newer patients, Shane, so that we could show our blog readers what to expect. In addition, we also chatted with our longtime patient, Angel, about her fun experience needing remote help from her prosthetist while on the set of a TV commercial she was filming! Both of these videos were recorded via a video conference call, the same way we offer video chats to you.

Arm Dynamics' clinical teams provide exceptional upper limb care. After an initial consultation, if you decide do continue with us, you will need to visit one of our five centers in the US. You can learn more about the process that comes after your initial consultation in our article The Process of Getting a Prosthetic Device: From Start to Finish.

For anyone interested in learning more, please fill out the form at the bottom of this page, where it says Drop Us a Line. For current patients, please reach out to us via the contact information you were provided. We hope to see you online soon!
